Re-Elect Plummer, vote for good common sense

Trust in the hospital board is shattered. Diligent negotiations were not followed to hire the current administrator. We consider proper legal help was not used and negative attitudes prevailed.

A better person can be found with adequate effort for a hospital administrator.

Stacey Plummer alone spoke up in the January meeting and moved by motion that the board extends negotiations with our hometown doctors.

This move was intended to protect the financial stability of the district.

A vote on the motion failed. Stacey will continue to think carefully about East Adams Rural Hospital (EARH) and community needs for Ritzville, Lind, and Washtucna.

Her ten years experience as a board member help her view the big picture of the entire EARH district.

A hospital does not function like any other business. There are many legal and financial details to follow that are determined by the state and federal laws for hospitals, which need to be adhered to.

We strongly suggest you consider re-electing Stacey Plummer. She is experienced in many hospital issues. Her ten years board knowledge has shown she knows the unique working of rural hospitals. Stacey Plummer has good sense and is able to grasp the big picture.

November will soon be here and your careful thoughts and vote are essential to establishing the health care needed for all the citizens of this hospital district. Remember to cast your vote for Stacey Plummer.

Rex and Juanita Lyle, Ritzville
