Adopt-A-Thon: Your chance to rescue a future pet

The number of puppies delivered to Adams County Pet Rescue this summer topped 65. The non-profit organization serves the entire county, rescuing dogs, cats, horses and other animals.

The group is over run by the high volume of animals dropped off this year. If animal lovers were ever in the mood to add a new pet to the family, Saturday, Oct. 15, will be the perfect opportunity. Pet Rescue will host an Adopt-A-Thon from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 2313 West Sherman Lane in Othello.
