Motorcyclist dies from earlier injuries

A 72-year-old Spokane man died on Friday, Sept. 23, following injuries he suffered in a motorcycle accident on Sunday, Sept. 18, 14 miles east of Ritzville on Interstate 90.

The Spokane County Medical Examiner notified the Washington State Patrol that Robert E. Bean had died.

The accident occurred at 8:51 a.m. on Sept. 18. Bean had been taken Sacred Heart Medical Center.

Bean was traveling westbound on the interstate when he left the roadway and was ejected off the motorcycle. He was riding a 2010 Harley Davidson 1200 cc FLHTK.
