Eastern Adams County's Only Independent Voice Since 1887
The annual meeting of Cattle Producers of Washington (CPoW) is set for Friday, Oct. 21, at the Pillar Rock Grill in Moses Lake from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. The all day and evening event is $60 and will include two panel discussions. One will focus on CPoW livestock processing facility and marketing of meats and the second will concentrate on the wolves in Washington state. There will be time for questions from the audience.
A USA beef prime rib dinner is at 6-9 p.m. and will feature entertainment by Dave McClure, cowboy humorist, musician and songwriter. Cost for this portion is $40.
The event promises to be a busy day packed with speakers to bring producers up to date on important issues facing the industry along with a trade show from some of the sponsors.
According to CPoW, it is the “only” organization that speaks exclusively for the Washington state cow/calf producer.
