Jenkins named hospital’s new Chief of Staff

Doctor Jill Jenkins, a member of the Coast to Coast Healthcare team hired as interim physicians for East Adams Rural Hospital, has been named Chief of Staff.

Jenkins was elevated to the role Tuesday during a medical staff meeting. She replaces Dr. Charles M. Sackmann.

Sackmann served as chief of staff for the past year. Prior to that local doctor Valerie Eckley held the same role.
