On Tuesday, Sept. 20, there was a band open house. If you missed it or couldn’t go, it’s ok. You can call Mrs. Jennifer York or Jamie Nichols at the grade school at 659-0232 to order supplies or pay band fees for your student.
On Monday, Sept. 26, cameras will be flashing and some kids will show their toothless smiles for picture day! Pictures will be taken in the Grade School gym. When the office knows the time the photographers will be here, there will be a schedule created. For now, on Monday, the preschool – Monkey Group (three-year-olds), kindergarten – Yellow Group, sixth Grade and high school retakes will have their pictures taken.
On Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2011, more pictures will be taken. Tuesday will have the preschool – Tigers, Lions and Zebras, kindergarten – Blue Group, first – fifth and seventh – eighth grade getting their pictures taken. Picture packets need to be filled out and returned to the school by picture day, to make sure you get your child’s pictures.
