Board members, volunteers and community members are encouraged to attend a special Lind Chamber of Commerce meeting this Monday, Sept. 19, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Slim’s Bar and Grill to finalize plans for the upcoming benefit auction and dinner.
The chamber’s annual shindig is slated for Saturday, Oct. 1, beginning with a social hour at 5:30 p.m. followed by dinner and auction at 6:30 p.m.
With a theme of “Mean While Back at the Ranch,” the night will include themed decorations and activities as well as live auction action and a catered meal.
Warren Kragt will serve as the auctioneer.
This year’s menu includes roast beef with balsamic mushrooms and sweet onions, glazed chicken tenders with sliced almond, garlic mashed potatoes, country green beans with bacon, green salad with fresh vegetables and dressing on the side, dinner roll with butter and peach cobbler with ice cream.
