Ritzville’s red tape drove business away

My wife and I decided to drive to Davenport for fun. While having lunch outside the restaurant we started talking to a couple who had just flown in from the coast.

She asked where we were from. I said Ritzville. She said oh, we tried to build a hanger there for our plane but we got so much red tape from the city that we decided to build here in Davenport.

I thought wow, here this town wants people to come and live and visit here but throw up so much red tape and codes that they go elsewhere. This story speaks for itself.
