Former Ritzville residents to celebrate milestone anniversary

Kenneth and Allison Heimbigner will observe their 65th wedding anniversary today (Thursday), Sept. 8, 2011. The couple was married at Trinity United Methodist Church in Ritzville in 1946.

The couple has three children: Sandra and Deni Atkinson of Ritzville, Brian and Linda Heimbigner of Cummings, Ga., and Douglas Heimbigner and Hally Birnbaum of Mt. Kisco, NY.

A family celebration given by the children is planned at a later date. The Heimbigners will also be joined by their four grandchildren with their spouses and six great-grandchildren.

The Heimbigners have been residents of Moses Lake for 47 years.

They are the former owners of Moses Lake Furniture and Ritzville Furniture, which was located on Main Avenue.
