Pin plucking underway at Ritzville bowling alley

League bowling season is gearing up with meetings and time on the lanes already underway. The following is a list of local leagues and meeting times at Big Bend Bowl in Ritzville:

• Sunday Mixers – League starts Sunday, Sept. 11, at 6:30 p.m.

• Commercial League –meeting tonight (Thursday), Sept. 1, for captains and anyone interested. League bowling begins on Sept. 8.

• Independent League – Bowling every Monday at 7 p.m.

• Alley Cats – League meeting Wednesday, Sept. 7, at 6 p.m. with bowling to follow at 6:30 p.m.
