Blaze roars through wheat Monday

A wheat fire northwest of Paha-Packard Road along Snowden Road keeps Ritzville fire crews as well as Lincoln County crews and several farm tankers for an intense blaze that was reported at 5:40 p.m. Some crews were being released to return to the station about 7 p.m.
