Labor Day parade preparations underway

The Ritzville Festivals Association is gearing up for the upcoming Ritzville Community Parade set for Saturday, Sept. 3, at 11 a.m. Entry forms are available from Jan Marshall or Debi Balfe at Ritzville City Hall. The forms must be submitted by Wednesday, Aug. 31.

The children’s parade will begin at 10:45 a.m. with this year’s theme of “Sea Monkeys.” No entry forms are required for the children’s parade.

The Dr. Frank R. Burroughs’ home at 408 West Main Avenue is the meeting place for the children’s parade.
