Ritzville resident looks forward to Columbia State Bank’s presence

We arrived in Ritzville in 1998 as customers of Columbia State Bank. We were sad not to be able to be daily Columbia Bank customers as Columbia Bank was perfect as banks an be.

We kept our accounts open at Columbia Bank for some time as we needed to have the use of a debit card and Bank of Whitman did not have them.

We have loved and do love the tellers and other support staff of the Bank of Whitman. There are none better.

We hope Columbia Bank will keep the existing staff. The last few managers of the Ritzville branch of the Bank of Whitman did not see the need to meet or greet their depositors, I suspect Columbia State Bank will not encourage such behavior.

Tomorrow morning, I shall use by Columbia Bank coffee mug to welcome an old friend.
