The city has a list of major street improvements council members hope the state’s Transportation Improvement Board can help pay for. Tuesday the Ritzville City Council unanimously approved a Six-Year Transportation Improvement Program.
Ritzville’s six-year plan is renewed annually and a necessity of the city intends to seek state funds for road improvements. Tuesday the council conducted a public hearing and then adopted the updated plan, which will be forwarded to the state for funding consideration.
