Important dates, fees for local school districts

The Lind and Ritzville School Districts have provided the following list of important dates and prices for the upcoming school year:

Lind

• Registration for grades 7-12, Aug. 22-23, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m., high school library

• First day of school, Aug. 29

• Lind-Ritzville/Sprague season sports passes: Adult $70; senior citizen $42; K-6 students $35; family $165

Fees may be paid at the student’s school office. For more information contact the Lind Elementary School at 677-3481 or the junior/senior/high school at 677-3408.

Ritzville

• Registration for grades K-8 (new students only), Aug. 16-24

• Registration for all high school students, Aug. 16-24

• Offices closed, Aug. 25, 7:30 a.m. to noon

• K-12 Open House Sept. 7, 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. (dinner will be served)

• Lind-Ritzville/Sprague season sports passes: Adult $70; senior citizen $42; K-6 students $35; family $165

• Fees: ASB $35; PE shirt $7; sports fees $3 per sport; driver’s ed fee $390; preschool fee $62; FFA $25; kindergarten snack fee $15; yearbook (if purchased before Dec. 1) $55.
