Last Friday, the Ritzville float ‘Fanta Sea’ was taken to Seattle to participate in the Alaska Airlines Seafair Torchlight Parade that took place on Saturday, July 30. This was an incredible opportunity to promote the Ritzville community.
During float judging, the news crew filmed and even asked finalist Davi Killian for a feature interview. The whole parade and picture slideshow is available to watch at http://www.kirotv.com.
The float was greatly received on the whole by everyone who saw it and several people took pictures. Everyone seemed to have a great time in Seattle and the parade was fun.
They were very excited about receiving the Exceptional Merit Award and soon it will be available to see in the window display at Hollie’s Headlines downtown.
