District could have saved strategic planning money

To the editor,

I read with interest the article that stated Sandy Champion received $18,619 for facilitating the strategic plan document.

It is my understanding that the hospital pays a monthly fee for QHR consulting company. Could the strategic plan been developed with this company facilitating the plan?

Would it have been free as part of the contract with QHR or done at a reduced rate? I was just wondering.
