RITZVILLE — The Lions Club will host its annual turkey bingo from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5. “We’ll have about 160 games and 160 turkeys to give away,” Lion’s Club Acting President Pat Yerxa said. “People can buy tickets, one per game. LIND – The Lind Ministerial Association recently disbursed donations totaling nearly $50,000 to five families impacted by the wildfire that swept through this area in August. The blaze destroyed four homes, including three homes on the hill above town and one home on the south side of the railroad tracks. Last Thursday, January 17, under cloudy skies and an incessant chilling rain, four young Scouts scrambled out of their vehicles to deliver the end of their campaign to collect pairs of socks to be passed out to those in need at the Ritzville Food Pantry.
