The Lind-Ritzville/Sprague Broncos baseball team had difficulty finding consistency on the field as they suffered losses against Liberty on Saturday, April 8, in a league doubleheader. The Ritzville Chapter of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) will honor high school scholars at the chapter’s regular monthly meeting on April 12. The recognition event begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Emanuel Lutheran Church social room. Each student will receive an AAUW Certificate of Excellence, issued by the AAUW of Washington. The LaCrosse-Washtucna/Kahlotus Tigercats tennis team had two matches to begin their season, and both were played on the Ritzville courts. The Lind-Ritzville/Sprague team has only played a single match this season, matching up with the Tigercats on Thursday.
