Glenna J. Snider, 95 passed away on Jan. 4 in Lewiston, ID. She was born July 22, 1924 in Batavia, Ohio to Donald and Lorena (Kupers) Hawkins. She graduated from Harrington in 1942 and then became a registered nurse graduating in 1947 from the Sacred Heart School of Nursing. Lind-Ritzville cross country runner Linnea Schafer has qualified for the State Cross Country Meet after advancing through the Regional Meet on Oct. 27 at the Harrington Golf Course. Locally raised livestock was the main dish during the My Farm, Your Table event at the American Legion Hall on Sept. 29. The event focuses on teaching about crops and the process of moving those products from the field to the table. Ritzville residents who walk by the H.E. Gritman Building in the next couple of weeks may see crews working to restore the structure’s brickwork.
