PASCO – Voters appear to have given Sheriff Jim D. Raymond another term in office as the county’s top cop. At the end of the first day of counting in the Tuesday, Nov. 8, general election, Raymond had amassed nearly three-quarters of the ballots tallied in the race for Franklin County sheriff. COLFAX — A rematch for a county commissioner seat is looking much like the first go-round. Preliminary results in the Nov. 8 general election show incumbent Michael Largent, a Republican, taking the lead over challenger John-Mark Mahnkey, a Democrat. RITZVILLE - It's looking like there won't be a new sheriff in Adams County, at least not in the near future. At the end of the first day of counting in the Nov. 8 general election, incumbent Dale J. Wagner of Othello was leading challenger Matthew Carlson of Ritzville. In the early tally, Wagner had 1,091 votes (56.24%); Carlson received 832 votes (42.89%).
