    The 85th annual National FFA Convention is underway in Indianapolis, Ind. and a group of Lind-Ritzville FFA chapter members have gone to compete at the national level.     Adams County Fire Protection District No. 1 Chief Scott Kembel and Ritzville Fire Department Chief Andy Lefevre, have announced that burning season is open for areas serviced by the two agencies. The season ends in the spring when vegetation starts to dry in the warmer weather.     The Ritzville Volunteer Ambulance Association (RVAA) is asking for community support and funding to help build new facilities for the equipment and meeting room for the volunteers. Currently, the RVAA consists of about a dozen volunteers who give their time to assist those in the community that need help.     As of Tuesday evening, the benefit dinner to support the expense of upcoming medical treatments for Bob Tracy helped raise $8,795, with donations still coming in.
