    The local Frontier Girls are participating in this national food drive in collaboration with the Ritzville Eagles. The Frontier Girls will have a booth set up at Harvest Foods from 4:30-7 p.m. on Sept. 28-30 to gather donations. The Eagles will also be accepting donations of non-perishable food items from Sept. 28-Oct. 1 at their location. All food collected will be donated to the Ritzville Food Pantry.     With new interest and a new advisor, Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) is returning to Lind-Ritzville High School (LRHS). FBLA was last a club at LRHS in the 2012-2013 academic year. The club dissolved not due to lack of participation but for the lack of an advisor to lead the club.     The Adams County Board of Commissioners held a public meeting on Monday, Sept. 26, at 11 a.m. in the courthouse, regarding the Initiative 502 moratorium. The moratorium prohibits the establishment of marijuana producers, processors and retailers within one mile of residential zones and two miles from community boundaries.     The Lady Broncos had a bittersweet week with a win on Thursday in Rosalia and a loss during a non-league game in Kittitas on Saturday. On Sept. 22 the Lady Broncos took on Tekoa-Rosalia in Rosalia. The team claimed victory with a 3-0 win with the scores, 25-22, 25-23 and 25-23.     The LaCrosse-Washtucna/Kahlotus Lady Tigercats volleyball team began league competition against Colton and Oakesdale, and saw first hand the strength of the league. The two early season matches resulted in losses for the Lady Tigercats, but the team made gains in personal and team growth.
