    Dustin Killian returned home to Ritzville earlier this summer to accept a position at East Adams Rural Hospital as an athletic trainer for the district. He is now also contracted to serve as an athletic trainer for Lind-Ritzville/Sprague athletic programs for the fall season, as a new partnership program between the hospital and school districts.     Though rain was falling, the Ritzville Community Parade went cruising down Main Avenue Saturday morning. The Ritzville Area Chamber of Commerce sponsored the parade and 53 entries were on display for all to enjoy.     Claudia Jean Kappel Bushbaum, 81, died on the evening of August 11, Claudia passed away after a nine year battle with Alzheimer’s disease; while being cared for by familiar staff members at the Holmes Sweet Home Care adult family home in Auburn. Claudia was born in Ritzville, on August 1, 1934. She was the fourth child of John and Edith Kappel, who owned a wheat farm near Ruff.     Kathryn (Ferderer) Lindell, 65, died on July 27th at home in Medical Lake. Kathy was born on January 17 1950 in Ritzville to parents Henry and Erma Ferderer. She graduated from Ritzville High School in 1968 and continued on to college earning a degree in Nursing from Big Bend Community College.
