    Tamara S. Beckley, 65, died on July 21 with her children by her side, after a courageous battle with cancer. Tammy was born to the late Donald and Dorothy Baggarely of Spokane on July 28, 1951.     Delores Mayer Silvay, 76, died on Tuesday, June 27, in Ephrata. She was born June 4, 1941, in Spokane and adopted by Leo and Faye Mayer, who have preceded her in death.   • The Sandwich Shop reopens in Lind

    The Lind Sandwich Shop, located on 101 North I Street is reopen for business. Owner Teresa Smith opened in 2015 after she purchased and refurbished the building, which used to be Seafirst Bank. In a 2015 interview with the Ritzville Journal, Smith said she opened her sandwich shop because she wanted to give back to the community and provide more food options.
