Students from Lind-Ritzville, Sprague, LaCrosse and Washtucna high schools are receiving their diplomas on Saturday. On Saturday, June 3, Washtucna High School graduation begins at 11 a.m. in the school gymnasium. Also at 11 a.m., LaCrosse High School seniors are making the big walk at Plowman Gymnasium. The Broncos golf team had a successful end to their season as two members competed in the State Tournament on May 22 and May 23. Head Coach Nick Weishaar and athletes Tessa Jantz and Michael Shields traveled to MeadowWood Golf Course in Liberty Lake to compete in the two-day tournament. FIREMEN’S BREAKFAST. Community members gathered at the Ritzville Fire Station early on Memorial Day morning for a breakfast of pancakes and sausage. Local Ritzville Volunteer Firefighters prepared and served the complementary meal at the fire station, and served 575 people during the four-hour event.
