Ritzville High School Alumni will gather for the 108th annual banquet and meeting this Saturday, May 25, at Gilson Gymnasium. Ticket sales for this year’s banquet have closed. With a combined 68 years of teaching at Benge Elementary School, Marcia Honn and Mary Ault have announced their decision to retire at the conclusion of the school year. Young beef showmen from across Washington traveled to Ritzville May 18 to exhibit in the first annual Wheatland Jackpot Show. Sixteen exhibitors and 20 steers in total took part in the premier event, exceeding the attendance goal of the show’s founders. Four Bronco athletes made the trip to Seattle on Monday to compete in the State Championship Golf Tournament at Oakbrook. The LaCrosse-Washtucna tennis season has come to a close after the regional tournament, as none of the athletes qualified for the state tournament.
