    The Miss Ritzville float was unveiled Thursday night downtown, just two days before its appearance in the Torchlight Parade in downtown Spokane. The parade was delayed by a shooting on the parade route, but the shooting did not include any parade participants. The float took first place in judging in Spokane.     RITZVILLE — Bronco Days will bring a mix of fun activities and a somber remembrance to the city this coming weekend. The celebration will include a parade, car show, live music, a cornhole tournament and vendors. There will also be a Fireman’s breakfast and a Memorial Day observance.     WASHTUCNA — Local high school alumni will gather Saturday, May 24, to recognize their peers. The Washtucna Alumni Association Luncheon Banquet and meeting will take place at 1 p.m. in the school gymnasium, 730 E. Booth Ave. A reception follows.
