    Millard R. “Bob” Bowman died at the age of 86 on April 22 at The Life Care Center in Ritzville. He was born on Feb. 21, 1927, to Millard and Neva Bowman. He resided in southern California during his youth and served in the Navy during WWII. He married Carol Bourne of Ramona, Calif., in 1956 and had two children.     Arthur Paul Ott, died at the age of 96 on April 30 in Chewelah. He was born on Oct. 28, 1916, to Albert and Elsie (Wellsandt) Ott in Ritzville. He grew up on a wheat farm near Ritzville, graduating from Ritzville High School in 1935. He married Dorothy Franson on May 18, 1941, at her parent’s home on Crab Creek, north of Ritzville.   • Thrivent, RGA to paint clubhouse

    A community project is being held on Saturday, May 11, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. to beautify the Ritzville Municipal Golf Course and clubhouse. The members of the Thrivent Financial for Lutherans are partnering with members of the Ritzville Golf Association to complete the work.
