    The Broncos hosted Springdale for the final doubleheader of the season ending in two wins for Lind-Ritzville/Sprague. The Broncos ended the season 9-11, tying St. George’s for seventh place overall for the season. Matt Leffel took the mound for the first game and pitched well for five innings. Leffel pitched seven strikeouts and allowed only three hits during the game. Defensively, the Broncos played strong and had only one error.   • Pancake breakfast Friday

    The H.E. Gritman Senior Center will host the monthly pancake breakfast on Friday, May 8, from 7:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Pancakes, a choice of ham or sausage, and juice or coffee, are on the menu with a suggested donation of $5 per person. The center is also providing lunches on May 11 and May 12. The H.E. Gritman Senior Center is located at 118 West Main Avenue in downtown Ritzville.
