    The Lady Broncos hosted a doubleheader against Davenport Tuesday, April 21, which resulted in two losses for Ritzville. The first game remained close until the seventh inning where Davenport pulled through with a score of 6-5.     The Lind-Ritzville/Sprague Broncos tennis team enjoyed a non-league match against Medical Lake on April 21. Leading the Broncos’ charge in the matches were Travis Ste. Marie and Mark Wilbers. Both athletes have shown dramatic improvement from the beginning of the season and are remaining competitive in league. Ste.     The LaCrosse-Washtucna/Kahlotus track team traveled to four meets in the month of April. The Tigercats currently have three athletes competing for the team.     Saturday, April 25, the Broncos hosted a doubleheader against Liberty, which ended with one loss and one win for the Broncos. The loss of the first of the two games confirmed playoffs would be unobtainable for the Broncos after taking two losses earlier in the week to the Davenport Gorillas.     The LaCrosse-Washtucna/Kahlotus Tigercats hosted Wilbur-Creston in Ritzville on April 23 where they earned multiple league wins. The Tigercats took the court in the singles competitions and quickly got out to an early lead. In the No. 1 singles contest, Logan Miller defeated Wilbur-Creston’s top singles player, Christian Nelson. Miller earned the win with a final score of 6-0, 6-2.     With over 700 athletes registered to compete in the 10th Annual Undeberg Invitational on April 25, the Lind-Ritzville/Sprague girls’ team ran away with the Team Champion title. The girls had a successful day on the track, running to victory in multiple events and setting new event records across the board.     Lind-Ritzville Athletic Director Greg Whitmore presented to the Lind and Ritzville School Boards on April 27 regarding the Washtucna School District’s interest in athletically entering into a cooperative agreement for the upcoming football season.     With a generous donation made by Umpqua Bank, all fourth grade students within the Lind and Ritzville school districts received a Ponderosa Pine tree to plant in honor of Arbor Day. Tree Board member Mike Schrag and Umpqua Bank Manager Chad Hoeft visited the local schools to distribute the trees and speak to the students briefly about Arbor Day.
