    During a camping trip last year, Dakota Lane and Jeffrey Staley used the skills taught to them by the Cub Scouts to perform a lifesaving act and have now received a national award commemorating their heroism.     In early morning light on Wednesday, the charred skeleton of the horse barn overlooked the Wheat Land Communities’ Fairgrounds.     The SJELWK track and field team traveled to Dayton High School on April 16 to compete in the District 9 1B/2B Meet. The boys finished second with 152 points, and the girls took third with 104 points.
