    Donald G. Husek ,75, died at Providence Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane on March 18. Don was born in Oak Park, Illinois, on May 19, 1940 to George and Mildred (Sehnoutka) Husek. He graduated from Morgan Park Military Academy in 1958 and also from Ripon College in 1963. While at Ripon he was baptized into the Lutheran faith.     Robert J. Maier was born Feb. 7, 1927, in Lind. Robert passed away March 16 at his home in Ritzville after a long battle with kidney disease. He was the son of Ben and Tillie Fritchle Maier and was the third of six children. He attended school at Lind and graduated from high school in 1945.     Lind-Ritzville High School Senior Wyatt Roettger competed in the 2016 Washington Interscholastic Basketball Coaches Association (WIBCA) All-State basketball game on Saturday, March 19. Roettger was one of 10 athletes in the 2B division invited to compete in the All-State game.     The Lind-Ritzville/Sprague Broncos golf team stepped onto the Ritzville Municipal Golf Course for the first match of the season on Tuesday, March 15, at 2 p.m. and hosted the Colfax Bulldogs and the Inchelium Hornets.
