    RITZVILLE – Operating as Akins Fresh Market, John Akins and his Quincy-based Akins and Co. have acquired the local grocery store. Former owners Troy D. Adams and Terina R. Adams of Spokane sold the 10,260-square-foot grocery building at 610 W. First St. for $900,000, Adams County Assessor's Office records show.     RITZVILLE – The Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna varsity girls volleyball team won a berth in the state Class 2B tournament Nov. 3 by beating Liberty (Spangle) in 5 sets.     RITZVILLE – A Cle Elum man was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 90 about 11 miles west of the city on Friday, Nov. 5. Laurence W. Roxby, 65, of Cle Elum, was pronounced dead at the scene about 1:12 p.m., the Washington State Patrol reported. Roxby was eastbound near Milepost 210 when the vehicle he was driving left the roadway and entered the center median and overturned, the patrol said.     RITZVILLE – Adams County elected officials met in a forum, Nov. 3, to discuss budgeting for the upcoming year. Commissioner Jay Weise asked elected officials to prepare short presentations ahead of the public budget hearing to go over their requests.
