Have we forgotten what harvest means to us personally, as families, and as a community? As far back as I can remember, I can’t think of a time when I wasn’t waiting for harvest. When I was young, it was the chance to do and learn something new, to prove myself as I worked hard. I learned self-confidence and to be part of a team.
