Happy Advent, everyone, Thanksgiving is over and the Christmas lights are beginning to light our nights. It is fun to prepare for Christmas, which is what Advent is all about. It is getting ready for Jesus to come, remembering he came as a baby, knowing that he will come again and in the meanwhile inviting Jesus to dwell in our hearts. I love this time of year, because I can see God at work creating and renewing us as we celebrate our lives together.
