Local families have participated and enjoyed the Lind Fun Fair during the last 14 years, but coordinator Sharon Reeve is announcing that the scheduled Fun Fair for May 4 could be the last one. Reeve began the Fun Fair with four other mothers in the area, having been inspired to create the event after attending similar fairs in Everett, Wash. where she used to live. Katie Swanstrom begins offering podiatric services at EARH on May 10. The Project 56 committee is hard at work and has begun increasing the amount of fundraisers as the expected cost of the project continues to rise. The group has already raised over a third of the money needed to complete the all-weather track project with around $117,000 currently raised. Pet Rescue currently only has capacity for 20 dogs at the temporary shelter in Othello.
