The Adams County Public Hospital District No. 2 Board of Commissioners unanimously agreed to transfer $180,000 to East Adams Care Center for operating expenses at the facility. The commissioners heard from multiple members of the staff at EACC about how they are working to ensure the facility financially breaks even in the future. Local business owners, residents and families gathered at the American Legion Memorial Hall to support and participate in the 17th Annual Pheasants Forever Banquet and Auction. The Washington State Auditor’s Office released a Fraud Investigation Report for the Town of Lind on Dec. 21. The investigation period went from Jan. 1, 2010, through Feb. 28, 2014. The official report of misappropriation for the Town of Lind was released after a nearly two-year investigation by the State Auditor’s Office. Speech Language Pathologist Deborah Reynolds has dedicated more than 20 years of her life helping patients regain or improve their ability to function in everyday life.
