    The Board of Commissioners remained focused on the financials for Adams County Hospital District No. 2, and also expressed optimism and excitement for the District recording a positive bottom line for the first time in over a year. CEO/CFO Gary Bostrom reported the District received $1.5 million for Medicare swing beds, and over $1 million from 2016.     The Adams County Public Hospital District No. 2 Board of Commissioners met at their regular meeting on May 25 and discussed the financial situation of the District, as well as approved a landscaping bid for the facilty. The Board reviewed and approved a landscaping bid from Naturescape Northwest to complete work around the hospital facility.     The Lind and Ritzville School Board members unanimously approved to allow the Kahlotus School District to join in the athletic cooperative. The decision came at the conclusion of the Boards’ regular meeting on May 22 in Lind. The Kahlotus School District will be responsible for paying a fifth of the costs involved with athletics.
